Point to plane distance adjust

Hi, I want to create a curve divided in a 1200mm module at the top curve, and on the bottom curve the perpendicular distance between the next curve from the point connection should not be more than 1200mm. I hereby attached my file for reference. I really appreciate any help you can provide. image|690x365

I did study your jpg file and other files. For me it is unclear what your are exactly searching for.
The best I could understand, is that you want to divide the upper curve in lengths of 120.

What I now see is, that you divided the upper curve using “Perp Frames”

Use instead of that "divide length.
“Curve Closest point” to find t-parameter
and “Perp Frame” to fing the plane on that point.
Go from there.

Hi @Eef_Weenink, Thanks for your input!, Sure I’ll work this cluster, May I know the component name attached in the image?

Thanks!@Eef_weenink it works for the top curve. The next step is to ensure the bottom curve point distance perpendicular to the next cure is not more than 1200mm in plan. May I know how to analyse the perpendicular distance and adjust them according to my requirement

Sure. I made a new file, using your curves (internalise data).

Step: Decide on basic stuff like:

  • Use Endpoints of curve(s)? If yes, how many points with about 1200 difference in length? And adjust a bit to be as close as possible to 1200.
If no, decide where the first line and last line should be on both curves
  • A line at the middle of the curve (uneven number) or even number lines?

Step 2: Divide curved curve into segments
I choose the uneven numbers (what will give even number of segments),
but the other is also possible
Divide curve in calculated segments.

Divide the other line in the same number.
Connect point with lines
I had to flip the second cuve, because it was in wrong direction.

Is this what you need?

@Eef_Weenink Thanks for your continuous support!

I meant the perpendicular distance from the point to the next curve, should not be more than 1200mm as marked in the image

I do not understand what you mean.
Is the distance more then 1200 in the example I made?

Maybe just take a piece of paper and draw what you want. And then from at least from 2 views, because the lines you start with are not in the same plane. (or are they?)

To check the distance you could do it this way.

@Leopoldomonzani Thank you so much!!! This is what i needed. Thanks a lot!!!

@leopoldomonzani If possible could you share me your file? Thanks!!!
