When point clouds overlap: if the points do not have color themselves, they get correctly highlighted with the “light pink” color to select which one you want to select from the pop-up menu.
But: if the points do have a color, the light-pink highlight color is not used when selecting from the pop-up menu. In that case, it is much more difficult to see if the correct point cloud is being selected.
