Good afternoon, help please, what is the reason I can not install plvgin from the official site writes:

Downloading Weaverbird (0.9.0+1-yak-and-mac)…
The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Successfully installed 0 of 1 packages.

Not all plug-ins were found on the package server.

Developers, please visit https://discourse.mcneel.com/c/serengeti/yak to find out how to add your plug-in to the package manager.

Hello - what is the link or page you are downloading from?

https://www.giuliopiacentino.com/weaverbird/

Hm - that seems to have worked here - you opened the file from Grasshopper, correct? Can you please run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and copy/paste the results here?

@piac - do you have an idea what may have gone wrong? The process worked for me… 6.36 though, here.

-Pascal

maybe it’s an antivirus, it often blocks my sites, although they are verified and official ?

Definitely worth a shot - disabling anti-virus stuff.

-Pascal

I tried but still writes an error

@will knows about the secure channel problem. It’s something specific to the Package Manager and Rhino 6, but I don’t know exactly the solution. Let’s wait for his response!

@art.jeremi do you have any third-party Rhino/Grasshopper plug-ins installed?

If you don’t have any Rhino plug-ins installed (which by the looks of your SystemInfo might be the case) please try restarting Rhino and run TestPackageManager before opening Grasshopper. Search for Weaverbird and install from there.

For some reason the version of the SSL/TLS protocol used by HTTP requests from within Rhino (including plug-ins) is being downgraded. Rhino itself will always use the latest protocol when making a request (i.e. to the Cloud Zoo) but in 6.35 (and 7.10) the package manager isn’t so smart.

Thank you very much, in this way I was able to install it through this command, can I install other plugins?

Hi, I’m facing a same problem too. When I run the PackageManager, it show this dialog box.

Hi Erika -

That looks like a firewall issue on your PC or network.
Can you open https://yak.rhino3d.com?
-wim
