as suggested by @dale I wanted to start a discussion about this fact. As a plug-in developer there are no guarantees that the code we wrote will work out of the box on the newer version of Rhino. Therefore I would suggest that Rhino prompt the user on first run and ask which plug-in to migrate and if to perform automatic migration. Something similar to what happens with browsers when migrating bookmarks.
What do you think? Would you rather have the plug-ins migrated everytime you run Rhino 7 or an option to migrate them once and then disable the automatic migration?
