Pls Stop OS Autotag

obviously my serial nr is linked and informs discourse mcneel that i am using mac os, so every time i open a new topic i have to manually delete that tag again because in 97% of times the topic is not about my operating system at all which is becoming very bothersome. i know that there are people who have muted mac tagged topics, i am not sure how exactly that muting works but i suspect they might never read my posts if i forget to delete the tag.

the biggest problem is here in identifying the problem that the autotag only then happens once you publish the topic. so i have to reedit the topic once i published which makes it an additional headache.

is there any chance that somebody could uncheck this feature?

This is in no way linked to any serial number. This is your browser telling you which OS you are on.

why? since the difference between mac and windows are becoming less and less i dont see a lot of sense in this even for the majority of users which occasionally drop by and forget to let everybody know which os they are using.

i am not sure where you took the wrong turn off but its time to get back on track. i dont need to be pissed at every time i state a request.

and no its not fine, its very bothersome.
