Please float the “Match” button on top of the Properties panel so that it is not required to take the elevator to access it.

You could create a button with MatchProperties? Or tie MatchProperties to a shortcut. I really dislike anything floating because it inevitably ends up in the way.
Well, by “floating”, I just mean “Place it on top” instead of at the bottom where it is systematically hidden given that I stack my layer and properties panels.
As a 3D mouse user, I tend to use very few shortcuts as I like to keep my left hand nice and cozy on the 3D device.
I have a humongous popup though, and I find it more pleasant to use icons than remembering a bunch of letter combos (Mortal Kombat was never my thing).
I am probably going to follow your advice and add a button in there linking to the “Match” command , but I think that the original button is misplaced nonetheless.
It doesn’t have to be so big either…
