Playing with Brunelleschi dome question

Is there a way to keep a line fixed on a center point (somewhere on that lines midpoint ) while having one of its other end snap to another curve. That lets the opposite end move according to the axis is and where the moving end is traveling along that curve? Thanks , Mark. Didn’t have a way to send photo Found a work around thanks
