Planar UV point layout on BlendSrf

Last week I made a demonstration video for someone to show how good and flexible the BlendSrf command in Rhino is:

This week, when I’m about to do a demo again, I suddenly cannot for the life of me get it to work! It’s like the auto option in the “planar sections” just went away! I can draw it manually, but that’s not what I want, I want it full auto, like in the video (24 seconds in).

Anyone know what’s going on? I might still be in vacation mode so maybe I’m missing something obvious…

EDIT: Holy shit I just noticed that even in the above video, when I go to edit the surface after showing off the planar feature, it snaps back to being non-planar!!

Hello- yes, I see that ‘Planar sections’ has to be reset on editing, I’ll see if we can get that fixed, thanks for the report.
