I HAVE MADE THE DOME AND THE STARRY SHAPE BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO PLACE IT OR ANY COMMAND SO AS TO GET THE GEOMETRY I WANT ALONG THE TOP PART OF THE DOME…
PLS HELP… ANY IDEAS WELCOMED 
There are a few ways to do this. I would offset the dome surface and split a vertically extruded star shape with the offset.
