Piping issue for a couple of curves

I have two curves that I need to pipe in order to turn them into handrails. I need the seams of the pipe to face inward, toward each other. When I pipe these curves as-is, the torsion within the curves does not allow this.

What would be the best way to achieve this?

Thanks!

You could use frames at the end of the curves to rotate a circle, or several, as cross sections. Their rotation will control the resulting seam of the pipe. I’m not sure if it will be possible to keep the seam pointing towards the other curve due to the spirals though. I’d also rebuild the curves to take out the kinks and get single sweeps.

This is basically the approach I was taking except I didn’t think to rebuild the curve. I made an average curve between the two and faced all the frames toward the curve in order to have the seam on that side.
