PerspectiveMatch-HELP :-)

I have only used PerspectiveMatch a few times and generally seem to get close enough for my needs. I am struggling with this image (attached) , any advice or tips how to match my perspective viewport to this ? I am specifiacally looking at overlaying a new flooring/paving layout, tia

the image is a bit of a mess, it looks like it was shot with a fish eye and somebody tried to fix it and made everything wrong (this or its the crappiest wide angle lens on the market) no offence, hope that was not you, the top roof is warping backwards while the curb is warping forward, nothing matches here, while it can be that the building is precisely in a curve and the building is actually round that would be a hell of a coincidence… also some parts already look photoshopped into it…

i tried to correct it a bit assuming that the lines should be fairly straight, its probably a bit better, not perfect but maybe more usable.

the rest you should already know, you would need a plane that matches in distance the floor from the vertical beams to the curb stones and some width for instance then use the command.

thanks for taking a look bud. Yes I took the photo, standard iphone15 image , I edited out a bunch of stuff in the foreground, but no perspective/distort editing, no offence taken :blush:It is a small sports stadium which is elliptical in shape, so curved, and the roads in from the structure are also curved the opposite way, and the ground falls away from the stadium too, so this makes it difficult to get a reasonable image to potentially perspective match and then add new paving in Rhino. I’ll see if I can get something workable.

omg… ok then that is tricky, what you could do is use the white squarish pattern on the floor as a reference maybe that is good enough to help you further since it looks fairly straight
