I tried to open Rhino 8 back up after about 3 weeks, and though I’m able to access cloud zoo, rhino accounts page, and the mcneel api in my browser, I’m still getting the error message that it can’t connect to the validation server. I’ve also tried opening ports 443 and 80, uninstalling and reinstalling the program on my device vs to Cloud. I was previously floating my license across devices to work at home or in the office/at school, so I thought Cloud would be best, but I also don’t know what to fill in for a Zoo download,m if that’s even possible without a dedicated server. I’ve seen some people having issues because of their wifi adapters, which I swapped out recently on my desktop, however my laptop’s got the same problem and the wifi hardware hasn’t changed on it, so I doubt that’s the problem either. Please let me know if you have any pointers or suggestions, thanks!
Your Rhino is already validated I can see.
I see you’ve been trying different options (offline and local) but that shouldn’t be needed.
When you start Rhino do you see a login option?
If you don’t or see any error messages, please post a screen shot of what you the point where you get stuck.
