hey guys
i tried to perform perforations on a surface, but when i try to difference the 2 objects it doesnt give me the desired result, i have to bake the object and further modify it. how can i boolean difference the objec, please advice.

So I intersected the surfaces with the breps of the perforation.
Then I evaluated the surface areas of the results and picked the largest one.
Of course this is a bit dangerous if the surface you want cannot be determined by the surface area.
In this case we would have to filter it a bit more sophisticated, but for now it seems to do it’s job.
