Perforate Surface Using Image Sample Issue- "Circle Cannot Be Extruded"

Hello! I am having an issue trying to extrude circles through a surface, I am wanting the circles from the image I am using to cut through the surface that I have made. So far the circles are showing up as if they are “laying” on the surface as lines, but the extrude command is giving me the error: “Circle Cannot Be Extruded”.

Hi,

I can’t seem to be able to download that file, but given this :

I think you are looking for Surface Split instead of extrusion ?
You could also Merge the rectangle and the circles and use Boundary Surfaces directly.

That’s strange! I just downloaded the grasshopper file using the link I put in the post and it worked fine so I’m not sure what’s going on :frowning:
How would I merge the rectangle (surface) and the circles? Forgive my ignorance I haven’t used Grasshopper much haha

Use Merge !
The Boundary Surfaces method only works is the circles are inside the rectangle, but this seems to be the case in your example.

I don’t know what’s happening, Firefox throws a nasty PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR.

Thanks! I’ll try that and report back!
