I remember back in the olden days when I started using R5, there was a TestZBiasFactor command but it was viewed as kind of a kludgy workaround for situations like this. It doesn’t seem to be working this time, and actually crashed R8 once…
Is there any newer, better ways of “hiding” the pockets on the back of the panel (other than just making a cosmetic panel without them, for the purposes of detailing)?
If that’s the case, I can probably make it work with workarounds like a “cosmetic only” panel with no pockets for the isometric, but I know that won’t always work…
(I can also see the thin aluminum flat bar kick panel at the bottom of the door, the door opening behind it shows through)
I don’t reeeeeally want to go back to the old way of Make2D for everything if I can avoid it.
FWIW, and assuming this is for printing to PDF or paper, these artifacts are cleaned up when printing to vector in a process that is similar to Make2D:
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - I could’ve sworn that printing with Pen view was just a raster approximation of vector linework. Has that changed between R6 and R8?
Oh gosh…if it’s always been like this I’m going to be kicking myself!
