Pen display style: surface iso-curves

In its current implementation, there seems to be no way to visualize surface isocurves in the “Pen” display mode (same for “technical”, “artistic” or any outline based style).
I don’t see, why this shouldn’t be possible, but what do I know.

Is there any way to make this option available?

Hi Norbert - I don’t say it is not possible but the idea for the ‘technical’ display modes was, I think, specifically to get away from this and draw shapes independently of the NURBS wires as much as possible.

Hi Pascal.
Yeah, that’s what I thought and I get that.
It is just that I started using the Pen display style for modeling recently, and surface isocurves would come handy for that from time to time… maybe even just for selected (highlighted) surfaces.

But no big deal, I just wanted to make sure I hadn’t overseen some checkbox deeply buried in the Rhino options.
Thanks, Norbert

You probably done this already (in the past year ) but this can be accomplished by making a custom display mode and playing with the settings.
