Hi I’m kind of a newbie in grasshopper, and I’m facing some problems while creating a randomised pattern.
So basically I have two problems, the first one is: I cant place it on multiple surfaces without distorting it(which looks really off). At first i thought maybe it was cause i used subsurface at the basis, but I’m confused. For example, in the Lunchbox plugin, the triangle pattern has two inputs like u and v, where i can set my surface’s u and v dimension to do the same pattern along different dimension surfaces( it works like the pattern is being adopted as the surfaces demand, so nothing gets distorted), i kind of want to have the same thing with my pattern, the u and v input, where i will plug in my desired surface’s dimension nodes and get the same pattern along any surface, without distorting(I’m only talking about planar surfaces here, not any curved one). But i don’t have any clue on how to do this.
And the second thing is a fault in maybe one of the nodes, which is causing the last panel to extrude at both direction(you can see it in the top view), I have looked at the nodes for hours trying to figure it out but i just cant.
Here is the grasshopper file, any sort of help is appreciated. Thanks:)
