The Space tool is not meant to be used as a representation of the floor finish.
Take into account that it works by moving the hatch to the cutting plane’s height, so if it is at 1,40 m then the hatch will be placed at 1,40 m, hence covering the rest of the elements in the room.
Currently the workaround would be to create yourself another hatch.
Since we are aware that this may not be always the best solution (like in your case) we are going to think about other options to make this work properly for everyone.
