I was commenting that Quake 2 had inline assembly, when I went snooping and found this. I don’t know why he didn’t start a different video for the Tesla Coil, but…
I am surprised that his ray- and path- tracing code was similar, because the two systems are quite different in that pathtracing: renders from the camera to the light, but the lack of the shadow masks/buffers.
His interior background is Logisim, logic simulator : )
