Pasting in the wrong place

Quick key copy and paste used to position the new item in exactly the same place. When I try it now it is slightly off. Anyone have a solution to why this is not the case anymore?

Hi Tai - most likely you opened a dwg file (?) that has the the model base point off from Rhino’s World. Use ModelBasePoint to reset to w0,0,0. Any luck?

That did the trick. I did some picture frame surfaces to trace and think that was the culprit. Either way I’m happy to know the trick now.
