I am running a file with a curved surface and a house that has 4 sides and a roof (all single surfaces). I have never had issues before on this computer, and yet my copy paste (paste especially) is taking forever. I can wait almost 30 seconds sometimes. Would anyone know what the issue is, or maybe have you had an issue before compared to this and know the fix?
It might be heavy geometry, bad geometry, or your file is heavy from other objects. Best practice is to start a new file from scratch, and copy only the geometry you need to carry on working. When pasting hundreds of objects or a really complex object, it is not abnormal that it would take a couple of seconds. But as you suspect, sometimes there is another culprit inside your file. So start fresh!
