Parametric Facade

Hey everyone :waving_hand:

I’m trying to create a parametric façade like the one in the image below. It has these double triangular openings, and I want to make them fully controllable in Grasshopper.

Here’s the building I’m trying to replicate the façade style of :backhand_index_pointing_up:

I want to be able to:

  • Scale the openings

  • Stretch or shorten the “nose” side of the triangle

  • Add window frames and glass inside that follow the same shape

  • Maybe add some random variation across the surface

Help Guyz ?
Any example files, plugin suggestions, or workflow tips would be really appreciated :folded_hands:

Thanks!

What have you made so far?

That looks authored, not parametric. Like, I’d be making that in Revit using Edit Profile for curtain walls cut into regular walls.

I make it through 3ds max … but need control or shapes and position .. so better to be done in Grasshopper …

I haven’t done much yet. I just have the basic idea — it’s like a cube split in half, one side straight and the other side sloped. I’m planning to model the main shape in Rhino first and then apply the pattern through Grasshopper
