I have been trying to panelize my building structure, and I am having a little trouble doing it. I am trying to do a two penalization technique, or even one at this point in order to get a hang of it.
I believe my issue lies within the two merged blobs (that i made to become one blob) as I am trying to use isotrim to create a grid on my one shape, but it keeps separating the two:
I do not necessarily want the panels (in the second screenshot) I wanted to more like play around and find out which ones would look best, and perhaps use two. All I know is that I don’t want my panels too be very skeletal. Also, need everything to be a NURBS parametric model! I forgot to also mention that I have tried surface morphing onto the blob as well, and it also has not worked:
And now, I have tried a new technique where instead of isotrim, I used contour intersection to cut sections from the model, then used extrude to create surfaces straight up per floor. However, that hasn’t worked either:
I really want to do something cool with these panels, something along the lines of like this:
FINALupdatedBlobA2 - Copy (2).gh (52.7 KB)
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated! I kind of need urgent help, and anything and any thoughts on how to take this forward would be suuuuuper helpful. Thank you so much.
