When I open month old files with the Latest SR all the long paragraphs on layouts are totally messed up, super long/not text wrapping. Used to have 6” wide paragraph columns, now they wont narrow below 9”. Here is a screen recording of what it is like trying to narrow beyond 9”:

You need to post a file with text that exhibits this behaviour - we can’t help much with a video.
One thing to try though: instead of dragging straight left, drag slightly downward at the same time so you are kind of following the column’s growth. Helps when you have a frame around text, might help you.
Please share a 3dm with just this text. We’ll look at it right away and try to figure out what is going on.

Rhino is not liking the emboldened references at the end of paragraphs. Remove the bold attribute from those and text will fit to desired width. The paragraphs that are entirely emboldened (i.e. headings) are fine.
To add a weird footnote: Having removed the emboldening and resized the column you can start to reapply the emboldening to the references. At first all is ok but the errant behaviour soon returns. I haven’t investigated this in depth.

thank you so much for looking into this & for the work-around. it is a weird copy/paste from a pdf, but there was no issue with formatting previously, is some issue with the latest service release.
RH-92028 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 29
