@architect.civil5 Just published a new build today. Get it through the PackageManager command in Rhino, restart Rhino and see if it will load. Let me know if you still have a problem.
thanks you.
i install new version an load ,work correctly
Hi rajaa, I recently got Rhino 7 and installed the newest version of paneling tools yesterday using PackageManager and I also get an error message on loading, that it can’t open, failed to start, or the DLL is out of date.
I think I know the problem. You probably are using an older service release of Rhino 7. Can you please update to 7.2?
Let me know if that works.
It is 7.1 but when I go to updates, it says “This Rhino is up to date”. And I see no options elsewhere to update to 7.2
You need the current Service Release Candidate.
Check for updates
Update frequency
and select Service Release Candidate
That’s how it’s already set.
and when i click ‘check now’ it ways my version is up to date.
oh. nevermind. i see.
Thanks.
Okay, I’ve upgraded to 7.2 but still getting a fail message.
Can you run the packagemanager command again and reinstall PanelingTools? Restart Rhino. If this is not fixed, run SystemInfo and send by email.
Hi Rajaa, Same issue for me - Rhino 7.2, “Unable to load Paneling Tools.rhp plug-in: Dependent Dll is out of date”. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version a few times. No luck… However, the Paneling tools still seem to work upon basic testing. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Hello Rajaa,
Just learning about paneling tools, but I can’t get them on my UI. Rhino7 for Mac.
My top looks like this:
My package manager looks like this:
And this:
I have tried shutting down Rhino 7 and restarting, but the result is what I have posted.
Any suggestions?
Actually, having read what I have just written, how do I bring up the dropdown toolbar for panelling?
Since you’re on a Mac, read this! From Rajaa’s announcement
- Mac: PT is shipped with the Mac for both Rhino and Grasshopper. No need for any installation! Note that PanelingTools runs as a command-line plugin in the Mac (no menu, just type pt and all of the commands auto-complete). There is however a new PanelingTools tab in Grasshopper with all the components.
