First of all thank you for the insanely fast reaction! The user interface is popping up now. However a few of the clickable buttons still seem to be connected to the old commands. See attached screenshot.
Another question: How is it currently possible to currently attach a low-polygon proxy to an existing high-polygon geometry block which is already in the document? IMHO this would be the most common case.
EDIT:
I think I figured it out. It has to be done by checking/unchecking the checkboxes before the command. I think this is very unintuitive. I would rather have another full button here.
This already looks much better.
I found something else that might need some fixing.
If you look at the attached screenshot, you will find that the letters for the categories are almost unreadable.
That might be related to some custom settings that I did for my colors. I’m not quite sure. However it might be better to somehow try to hard code this so users don’t run into this problem.
omprehensive tool for distributing blocks and managing their proxy display. However, I still find some of the workflows a little unintuitive and think they would benefit from further explanation—perhaps in the form of short video tutorials.
When recording these tutorials, it might be helpful to use a slightly lower screen resolution so that the command line is easier to read. This would make it much easier for users to follow exactly what is happening, especially when commands are being entered.
In particular, I would appreciate a short tutorial explaining how to use the built-in display categories, such as Point Cloud mesh box and Bounding Box. To be honest, I have not yet been able to work out how these options are intended to be used.
