Overlaying a diagrid on a form

I have a tower form that is a closed polysurface that I would like to overlay with a diagrid structure. I would like to use grasshopper to create the diagrid so that the thickness/size of the grid can be adjusted. How would I go about creating this?

The simple way is to use a search engine (qwant bing Google …) and search on old grasshopper forum. You will find tons of diagrid.

If you are using rhino 6 :
NGon | Food4Rhino
There is a diagrid that also closes the end.
Black thicker lines are quads.

But yes gh forum is also full of that.
