Is there a method to provide a shaded hatch under a material hatch so that solid components can be easily identified.

thanks for the reply. Is there any opportunity to do this via grasshopper (VB if I need to access components) ?
You could try with the VisualARQ components to deconstruct objects and to create hatch, but I don’t thing there is an easy way to achieve this.
