Overhang of the curve

i am working on finding the overhang of the curve. here is the picture on what i am trying to do. can somebody help me in this?

The length of vertical line should be constant (in mm). i just need the distance of the line shown. i want to know how much the length/overhang had been increased in every horizontal line.
if you can provide the gh file… it will be good.

Hello- if you copy the curve by the length of the vertical line and then make horizontals at regular intervals of the same distance, and trim with both curves, you should, I thknk, get what you want.
