Are the extra space between some of the check boxes/labels intentional?

When they are positioned in-line as shown above, it would be great to have as many check boxes exposed as possible.

@spb - Mikko’s comment about the reason for this:

“that’s because the first three have alternate subobject strings, Points/Vertices, Curves/Edges and Surfaces/Faces. If the spacing was made tighter when the longer versions are not showing, all items to the right would have to move around every time Sub-objects is checked or unchecked.”
