Opportunity: Digital Fabrication and Computation Internship

Schmidt Hammer Lassen architects offers paid internships to candidates with an interest in experiencing and developing innovative computational solutions for digital crafting. You will contribute to a set of software and hardware investigations specifically for prototyping, additive manufacturing methods, and physical modeling.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a master’s degree of architecture or equivalent (minimum 3 years of education completed)
  • Competency in Rhino and Grasshopper with an outstanding knowledge of essential mathematics and geometry
  • Hands-on experience in a fabrication lab or with 3dprinting is a plus
  • Experience with RhinoCommonAPI or background in computer science is a plus

You will work from the Fabrication Lab in our Copenhagen office starting form February 2020 and ending in July 2020 with the possibility of an extension up to one year.

The position is paid with financial support throughout the internship following the Danish law.
