Is it possible to “Start” the placement of the nested pieces not just from the Bottom left Corner? I would like to select one of the four corners from the “Sheet” rectangle and optimize from there.

There is a placement input where you put an integer. I think that is what you are looking for. Try changing the number.
Thanks, i know but the Placement input is as far as i know just to Orient in some directions and all Methods starts from bottom left Corner:
0 = X-Axis or Y-Axis
1 = Y-Axis
2 = Freeform
