Opening template "is not a Rhino m_archive"

Hello! I’m struggling making sense of these 2 problems:

  1. Everytime I try to open a template it says is not a Rhino m_archive, as the screen below:

  2. I tried to switch to my language (italian) but I ended up having mixed toolbars in english and italian but the commands are in english anyway

I tried to unistall it, repair it, restart the machine but nothing changed really, it’s a bummer :frowning:

Hope someone can help! Also I tried to install even the candidate release, nothing changed really :frowning:

Hi Stefano - as far as I can see the file is completely corrupted. Please make a new file in Rhino, use _SaveAsTemplate and see of that file works.

Yup.
Here’s what it looks like in a Hex editor, just a bunch of zeros:

There’s nothing there to rescue.

Hello, guys! Thank you very much for replying! I actually tried again to do a clean uninstall, deleting all the folders left behind, and now it seems to work fine, even regarding the language problem! Thanks again!
