Opening tagged folders to access files from inside R7 Mac

With my work I tag my job folders and files with states of progress. I then access the jobs in each state by the Finder side bar from applications.

update: I have re written this next bit as it appears to be tagged folders R7 cannot see. It can see tagged files.

If I try to open a tagged folder from R7 Mac from the Rhino menu that contains my 3dm files it fails to display the folder.

I know there are numerous folders tagged with “design” as they show up in other applications and the Finder but not R7 Mac. In fact the work around is to open a finder window and open the tagged folder there to access the 3dm files inside.

Has this been fixed in R8?

Okay so I have played with this some more…if I tag the 3dm files directly they show up. Not much use to me given my file naming by date and increment.

I need to place the tag on the main job folder and R7 Mac cannot see it. For now I will access the files in the tagged folders from a finder window and open from there.

BTW photoshop as an example will show the tagged folders from the “open file” window and then allow me to open them to find files it reads.
