Opening files from previous versions to Rhino 7

Hi there - have tried importing files from Rhino 5 into Rhino 7, no dice!
Do I have to convert?
Currently don’t have Rhino 5 on my PC anymore, but can put back on if needed.
Can’t find anything on Googly.

Hi Helen -

In general, there shouldn’t be a whole lot of issues opening a Rhino 5 file in Rhino 7. I think you will always run into a minor issue with the groundplane. Apart from that, I suppose plug-in data might be getting in the way. When you say “no dice”, what does that mean? Can you post your .3dm file?
