Position: Artist / Designer in Residence
Host Lab: Geometric Computing Laboratory, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland
Timeframe: 3 months, from September to December
Application deadline: June 15, 2025.

This residency invites artists, designers, and makers to engage in an intense collaboration with scientists at EPFL’s Geometric Computing Laboratory (GCM), directed by Mark Pauly. We welcome project proposals that leverage our scientific research to create a sculptural artwork, installation, or functional application prototype. The resident will have access to GCM’s latest research technology and computational design tools, as well as a fully equipped fab lab. The residency is fully funded.
