Hi, I am generating layouts that involve showing Grasshopper objects. My problem is I have no control of which viewports or layouts certain geometry should be previewed in, they show in all. I see the custom preview component has a viewport filter but it doesn’t seem to work in rendered mode and/or within layouts.
Never used layouts… but apparently layouts do not are viewports, but have viewports inside.
Enter your target view and rename it from inside:

That’s good to know, though it doesn’t solve this issue:
See how in the bottom-left corner the geometry is visible again, the layout appears to have its own 3D space where the viewport objects, text, and anything else is placed within, and Grasshopper seems to want to display the objects here too.
Do you need the rendered mode outside the views of the layout?
Toggle rendered mode on inside the view, but off outside.
It’s a bug, but you can avoid it.
I’m also baking objects into the layout and they have the wrong colour in other view modes.
