Hi Rhino!
Command: _OneView
When I use the oneview command,
What do ( ) parentheses mean?
That is the view label telling what cplane is active. The parentheses means the current view is not close to cplane orientation. Rotate the viewport so you are looking from the top, you’ll notice the parentheses disappear.

Thank you for reply
excuse me Why one view just works in perspective?
if I set the left view with the icon and rotate -oneview- doesnt works I have to set perspective. I use Rhino just with one window maximazed to navigate into the views I use the icon what I need. In r5 oneview was in develoment I think but was possible replicate with a script that was shared so in the latest versions just works in perspective.
Hi -
That’s the entire point of that command. You work in the maximized perspective viewport and automatically get access to the CPlanes of the parallel views without having to use any buttons to change the view.
I don’t know, but, if that’s the case, those Python scripts will still work the same way in Rhino 7 and you can use those if they work better for you.

heloo again! unfortunately I missed that script and I remember wasn’t available to download for some reason
Oh damn I was using it in a bad way pressing ctrl and shift I got stuck in the plane of the view without clicking anything more ufff thank you very much!!! Next time I going to read the doc for a funcion.
@wim apologize me another question, is possible get that freeze in the views without pressing ctrl and shift? just rotating and getting close to the views?
Hi -
I’m sure I don’t understand the question but I’ll answer something anyway…
Ctrl+Shift+RMB rotate will rotate the camera around the point the mouse was in when you start the procedure. That is the only way this behavior can be achieved. Just RMB rotating the view will rotate the camera around its target.

I mean when you are rotating the view, instead of press control and shift automatically recognize the principal c planes cause if not press the keyboard the view stay in orthographic
In many cases its needed the correct view so when you are rotating automaticlly will get freeze in the standar cplanes if you continue rotating unfreeze and continue into ortogrpahic view, did I express myself better this time? is that possible?
