One View and Gumball

Gumball doesn’t seem to work in one view. Is that expected behavior and I missed that limitation?

I turned one view on and the gumball is there and looking like it should work but can’t rotate, move, scale etc. Tried turning gumball on and off and switching views out of perspective and back in. No joy.

It sort of ghosts the object I want to move when I try. Switch off all snaps etc. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Can you repeat this issue or is it only me?

i never used the command, since this seems to reset the cplane according to the orientation of the object maybe the gumball rotation then looks like its not doing anything while it is in fact rotating? just guessing though.

Found the Rhinoceros 3d video explainer and my version is not working like this. Will flag this as a bug.

I can reproduce it but only on Mac and only when the gumball is in CPlane mode. Thanks for reporting and sorry this didn’t get attention sooner. I opened an issue here.

I have the same issue in Rhino 8 for Mac– it’s been ongoing for at least 6 months, but I only just realised the connection to OneView.
