Thanks I see it too and filed as https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-61959. I suspect it is hanging on some non-manifold edge in the mesh. If you use ToSubD > OffsetSubD > Crease all the edges > Mesh with the lowest level on the SubD mesh slider, you can get an offset solid mesh from this but there are still a number of problems with it if your plan is 3D printing.
