I just tried to loft between my original surface (bottom) and the offset one (top) and noticed that the top one doesn’t get the edge segementation that my original surface has.
Why is this and how can I get matching edges so I can loft?
(I realize in my case there’s a “extrude face” command that could have avoided me having to offset at all, but I’m still curious as to the general answer.)
Hello - in this case I guess you can SplitEdge, snapping to the ends of the edges of the original but it does seem incorrect - I’ll see if I can reproduce.
