Offset serrated curve breaks the curve

Hi everyone. I’m wanting to offset this curve (red) but I’ve not figured out how to keep it from separating the curve segments (black).
Any help is appreciated.

Hi David - yeah, V6 does not like this much either - it does a little better but does not get it right. For now, run through the results with Connect > ExtendArcsBy>Arcs to clean up.

Thanks Pascal. Well, this is embarrassing. All I had to do was fillet the corners first. Sorry.

Well, it is still a problem with Offset as far as I can see… I’ll add it to the heap.

@saucerdesigner - it turns out your curve is not planar - I did not notice either - check the Right or Top views…

I should have said all I had to do was fillet corners.
