Offset on surface

Hi, I want to offset that common edge curve of both plane to each plane, so for that I am able to offset curve on that angled surface but not able to do on flat one. I want to explore modular forms so for that I am trying in first 2 different plane. Help me to solve it. I am also attaching .gh file.

Reverse the direction of the offset.

I see no reason to use mesh for this.
