Offset geometry problem

Dear all,

I wonder is there any existing way to deal with this degeneration point geometry nicely to get an expected result in coding?

Hi -

You have tagged your post with python and rhinocommon, so I’m not completely sure what, exactly, the question is.
This seems to work fine in a current Rhino 8 build:

I can’t recreate this either in Rhino 8.6 (i.e. your code works fine for me).

can you please put the stuff for grasshopper in the right category? there is a distinct grasshopper tag for such issues so that people using grasshopper may find their way in and not people looking for Rhino issues.
