Offset from referenced level - Rhino inside

Hi everybody,

Im using rhino.Inside to place a family object created in Rhino into Revit, but it needs to be placed with an offset from the referenced level.

Does anyone know where I can read about it or have any tips on it?

In this case the Mass Family isn’t going to have a parameter ‘Offset from Level’ so you will need to take your offset into account on the location.

Here are a few ways to move your plane up in the Z direction

If you aren’t concerned about orientation just a Point will work as well.

Thank you @Japhy. Will follow your suggestion. The only reason Im creating a family its because “wall by face” in Revit does not work when I push the geometry using Directshape in Rhino.Inside. So far creating a Mass family is a only option that seems to work.
