Offset command producing weird lines after recent update (Rhino 8)

Hello,
I’ve noticed this all day to day after I updated last night I believe. Offset produces weird lines that either don’t connect or that form a triangle at the corner. I haven’t changed any settings since updating and am wondering if there is a tolerance setting somewhere that I need to adjust after the update?
Here is an example of offsetting on the outside. The yellow line is the original, the new offset produces broken lines that don’t meet.

Here is an example of offsetting to the interior. The yellow line is the original rectangle. This produces triangles at the corner instead of right angles.

I’m hoping there is a quick and easy fix for this. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much in advance!

Hi lila -

Please post the 3dm file so that we can make completely sure that we are looking at the same thing.

Which settings are you using the in the Offset command?

Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste its output here.
