Octopus - objective wire won't connect to component

Hey there,

I used Galapagos to analyze and optimize a structure with Karamba 3D. Now I want to conduct a multiobjective optimization and use Octopus for this. My Problem is the multiobjective node won’t attach to the parameter I want to use as an objective.

Did anyone encounter the same problem and has an idea of how to fix it?

I found a solution to this problem by connecting components to the phenotype input and then removing them after. This seemed to “initialize” it and now I can attach to my gene pool.
