Objects wont highlight when selected in render mode in latest beta

I’ve just downloaded this few hours ago - 3D objects wont highlight in render mode, curves are ok.

This was working in the previous beta, and if I paste the objects into V6 it works fine…

Well next day its works fine.
All rhinos had been closed and reopened, so I hope thats it.

But the computer was re-started after the new beta was originally installed as above…?

Anyway, for now it is working / I’ll report back if it happens again.

Ok, its happened again.

I have two instances of rhino open, and both were fine when I began working (previous post) but now show the same behavior.
Just to be clear; the objects are in fact selected, they just don’t highlight as selected.

Did you happen to be working with layouts? I just fixed a highlighting bug last night associated with layouts and details.

No, just is all in model space…

Checking in to see if this is still happening in the latest beta.

All seemed good for a few hours, with several rhinos open, till I chanced to turn on print display mode, and then the non-highlight behavior came back.

However, I managed to save out a reduced file that exhibits this, and still does it consistently after re-opening, so I attach the example.
Hopefully this might enable you to find the glitch.

Note I still have other files that are still operating ok regardless of the state of print display…
