Object that when copied and moved goes back to its original spot

I have a series of about 12 forms making a single form. When I try to duplicate it and then move it, the copy reverts back to the original spot of the form copied. At first I grouped them and tried to copy but that didn’t work. I then separated them into their individual objects but it is still not possible to copy then move the forms.

sounds like you are having fun with Rhino, how about posting that file that people can have a look.

Hi Joe - if the obect is tied to something else via History ,then the Lock Children setting on the History command will stop it’s being modified.

Hi Pascal,
Sorry but I can’t find the Lock children selection. I have several other things to solve. Do I have to ask those questions as different subjects?

Hi Joe - run the History command, and check the LockChildren setting, or right-click in the History panel at the bottom of the screen to see the setting.
Please post other questions in separate threads, yes, it makes it easier to keep track.

Is this the panel? I still don’t see a Locked Children selection.

The option is Lock, not LockChildren as I said, sorry.
