When exporting an OBJ file it allowed picking one of about 4 or 5 options. Somehow, I turned that off, and for the life of me cannot figure out how to get it back. I am trying to set up so that I can export the colors with the OBJ to Bambu Studio for printing. I have an AMS so it would be nice to get colors assigned to parts automatically. It seems that the “automotive” varieties allow for color in the OBJ. I would like to try the “other” one that I somehow managed to lose. TIA.
If you export, and choose OBJ, in the first dialog, before hitting the Save button, there should be a button Options…
Yes, that options button is there. Problem is that it does not provide a method to select what flavor of OBJ file is produced. IIRC there were 4 types, with 2 of them being automotive types, like 241 something I think. I know that option is not in Bambu Studio because I always just drag and drop and no options come up. I should not have clicked on that “do not show again” button!!! Grrrrr!!!
I think you are referring to the STEP export, not OBJ
Uncheck the “Always use these settings. Do not show this dialog again” checkbox
